This guitar was inspired by the Rickenbacker 325. It was the second "from scratch" guitar build I did (with the first being a failure/learning process) and became an exercise in patience and precision. Those two principles resulted in a very comfortable and accurate guitar... but my patience and precision fell apart in the finishing stage - my arch nemesis. I think I probably finished, sanded, and refinished this guitar 3 or 4 times in a futile effort to get something I was happy with. A battle I still continue to this day. After a while though, I kind of embrace the imperections and challenges I face with a guitar and it becomes a part of its personality. It's a small but aggressive little axe that is a blast to play.
