Our guest bedroom needed a narrow dresser unit, I had family visiting in a few days, some scrap (and very warped) birch plywood, and a CNC. 

If you don't include drying time, this was a 1-day build from design to completion.

• ~30min measuring and digital design

• ~1 hour digital CNC prep

• ~1 hour CNC cutting 

• ~2 hours sanding and cleaning edges

• ~1.5 hour finishing with water-based poly

• ~1 hour rattan install on sliding doors

• ~1 hour assembly and glue up

I know exposed edge plywood furniture isnt everyones cup of tea, and ya, there are things I would have done differently had I spent more time in the design phase, but theres something so endearing about quick and loose projects. You learn a lot, you have fun doing it, it's quick satisfaction, and you solve a problem.
